Corpse Hunt
Keeping up with my ongoing series of WoW Guild Events I wanted to tell you about a fairly easy even that requires virtually no work and can be fun for your members.
Simply create a new alt that no one knows the name for and find a good place in the world to kill it and then log out.
Doing so will create a corpse with your alt’s name. Do this approximately a day before the event so that the corpse will still be around before you start the event. Write some clues to the corpse location that will help people determine where it is. I’d suggest giving clues out as the event rolls on.
The first person to find the corpse location and message you where it is wins the event.
This event is fun because it allows you to use a corpse for the location so it can’t be located using the Zone listing.
This is a simple yet fun event in that it takes little planning and I’ve had corpse hunts go for approximately two hours in the past with good clues.
