For many years the IT sector has made a major impact on the environment. Data centers, hosting centers and bandwidth providers have generated a great deal of carbon and other wastes that have created environmental issues.

As such Guild Press, LLC has joined the ranks of many other market leaders in reducing our environmental impact. We have taken the following steps to ensure that our negative impact on the environment has not only been reduced but we’ve taken major steps to ensure that our company helps contribute to the solutions.

The machines that power Guild Press clients are using renewable energy for both power and cooling. Many providers are simply purchasing renewable energy to power servers but we are also using renewable energy for the cooling of our servers. The machines that power our clients generate a great deal of heat which requires a high level of cooling. By investing in renewable energy for both the power and cooling systems that power our machines we are greatly reducing our impact on the environment.

Guild Press, LLC and our partners are investing in Green -e certified Renewable Energy Credits or RECs. All of our client machines are verified, tracked and monitored for compliance. RECs are tradable credits that represent 1 megawatt hour of renewable energy.
