An interesting, or unusual fact(s) about me…
I smashed up my arm in a spin drier and should have lost it, and I had a secondary cancer diagnosis reversed three years later... I really am the luckiest girl alive so try not to sweat the small stuff. I love running (and sport generally) and write my best stuff in my head plodding over Yorkshire hill and dale. I'm profoundly deaf in one ear and the other's not too great either, but I manage pretty well thanks to the combination of the amazing tech in my hearing aids (I can bore for England on that) and amateur lip reading. When it's real loud and busy, that's my moment to shine!
