Who am I? I am a curious cosmopolitan, soon starting my third year of BA Fashion Marketing at the University of Leeds (Russel Group university). I tend to challenge the status quo to relentlessly improve the existing processes. Also, I am I am a structured analytical thinker which is visible when looking at how I approached my duties of a social media manager at LUU Mind Matters society. Speaking about personality tests, I am INTJ-A according to Myers-Briggs personality test, and I am a ‘Completer Finisher’ from the Belbin’s roles. My experience in branding, marketing communications and graphic design makes me stand out. Among my friends and colleagues, I am known for my passion for trend forecasting. What shaped me? Studying at DLD College London meant having an experience of an international student, and this naturally prepared me to thrive in international environment. While the president of the Food Committee, I have learned to be attentive to the needs of my community. Besides, I learned to be independent, responsible and to deal with problems without external help as I was alone in a new country. This also nurtured my hands-on mindset as I had only myself to rely on to achieve my goals.

My experience of performing duties of Welfare Publicity Officer (Social Media Marketing Manager role) at LUU Mind Matters society was extremely valuable. I was writing body of text for our email newsletter that we were sending out monthly and I was answering our followers’ messages, among other things. I have also advanced in event preparation and event management as our society usually runs events weekly. For example, on one occasion, I was helping our President to prepare for and run our Christmas Social. The event was sold out and, overall, it was a success.
