My functional skills include B2B sales, marketing and growth management. I have, for a commercial guy, unusually deep technical expertise, having trained as both a software and hardware engineer, allowing me to talk straight with engineering teams and to connect with brilliant technical founders. My experience ranges from having founded my own software company aged 24, to selling it for a lucrative amount and then working in Silicon Valley for five years, to most recently being CEO of a global software vendor where I increased EBITDA by seven-fold during my tenure. I am an ex-board member and current associate of the Cambridge Angels Network.
