James‘s professional bio / interests
With over 20 years of experience working with corporate executives on business development and growth topics, I started Propeller & Co to collaborate with entrepreneurial consultants, "hidden gems" in their respective fields. In today's rapidly changing multi-stakeholder landscape, it's crucial for incumbent enterprises to be proactive in driving sustainability transformations, streamlining operations and augmenting teams with new tech capabilities, addressing leadership challenges, and expanding into new markets. Propeller & Co is a network of high-trust, value-oriented consultants with a track record of success. Together with a dozen ecosystem partners, including MING Labs and IoT ONE, we offer a global breadth and depth of "hands-on" entrepreneurial expertise to support corporations with mission-critical transformation, leadership, and growth initiatives. Before relocating to Vienna in 2020 and starting as an independent advisor, I spent the past two decades of my professional life in Amsterdam, Beijing, and Shanghai, working with content-centric companies such as IMA, EIU, RTL, and HAVAS to drive business forward. I hold a Master of Science in Economics from the Erasmus School of Economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam.

A career highlight
Shanghai was my "can-do" city where I discovered my professional purpose as a "connector" & "strategic narrative developer" between corporate executives and experts. H1 of my career was completed in 2020. Just starting H2 and hope to make it to 2040 with that with an inspiring collection of new collaborations digitally and also dispersed across various geographies.
