Audra‘s professional bio / interests
With 20 years experience in industry and consultancy, I blend a theoretical and applied approach to my research, teaching, and collaborations with organisations and industries. My speciality is crisis management; however, my experience and research suggests that crisis management should never be reactive. Building crisis resistant and socially responsible organisations is critical to meet stakeholder expectations and attitudes in complex and often challenging local and global contexts. I am the editor for the Journal of International Crisis and Risk Communication Research, serve on several editorial boards, am the Chair of the European Communication Research and Education Association's Crisis Communication division and I collaborate with colleagues from around the world to find better ways to serve stakeholder interests.
