I offer small to medium enterprises and not-for-profit organisations quality and experienced communications support, which means I help them achieve their goals by making sure they're reaching the right people in a way that's right for them. I love it when a plan comes together but before I set up on my own I was always amazed at how often the 'doing' comes first and how much communication is one-way - where's the fun in that? Having worked in communications and PR for over ten years, I've journeyed through the corporate world and public sector. I'm also a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, hold a Diploma in Public Relations and am an Accredited Practitioner. I specialise in communications strategy, campaign planning and content creation, particularly enjoying the opportunity to translate a passion into a cultivated and invested audience. There's no smoke and mirrors here - my clients know they will always get clear, honest advice based on a bigger picture (not a fan of that term but let's be honest, there's more to a business than a Facebook feed). I have helped people achieve a range of goals - better sales, better engagement, raising awareness, growing their reputation and credibility - through tailored and practical communications strategy. I'd really like to help with others with strategic communications tips and helping businesses reach the right people in a way that works for them. If I can take a bit of the overwhelm away that comes from growing a business and support someone to navigate a noisy traditional and digital world then I'll be happy!

I can whistle really loudly and am regularly called upon to do this by my sweetly impressed children, nephews and nieces.
A career highlight
A recent client of mine admitted that initially they were unsure of the value I would add to their business but were happy to say how wrong they were and gave me really positive feedback. This stands out because it was so satisfying to be part of a lightbulb moment for someone and change their business for the better.
