I have been described as a charismatic leader with a positive outlook. I've been experimenting with the art + science of comms for more than 25 yrs - FMCG, CSR, insurance, tech, education, NFP in agencies + in-house. I need to understand how & why things connect & contribute to the whole. Trusting what we see + hear has changed significantly - this has implications for the integrity, expertise & actions of leaders today + those aspiring.

Understanding NFTs and should we pay attention to them. The role of automation & AI on the proliferation of content and trust in it. Role of comms leaders in the ethical operation / manufacture of services / products. New ways to evolve the collaboration with IT, marketing, risk management functions. I don't know what I don't know - so do bring a topic to me - I'm infinitely curious and we can get a conversation going.

I've now lived in the UK longer than in South Africa where I was born. I miss the cultural vibrancy more than the weather. The most challenging & interesting conversations I have, are the ones with my teenage son. I am consciously aware of who I am - it helps me take accountability for what I do + deliver. Until now, I have underestimated the value of my female friendships. I think I'm peri-menopausal & I don't think anyone really knows what that means.
