Rich‘s professional bio / interests
I founded Radioactive PR, in 2014. That has now grown into the Radioactive Group - a group of discipline-spanning agencies helping clients find creative and measurable ways to reach their target audiences. Since finding my way into PR in 2008, I've loved creative PR stunts and campaigns. This led to me founding the multi-contributor site in 2012, reaching 60,000+ PR and marketing people each month. It has been named the UK's #1 PR blog by Vuelio across multiple years. I sold it in 2018 and it's since been rebranded as Famous Campaigns. Once legally changed my name to Mr Public Relations after losing a bet. My book, Myths of PR, was published by Kogan Page in 2017, and quickly become the #1 best-selling book on Amazon. Which was lovely and all. I was listed in PR Week's 29 under 29 list in 2012 and named one of 'the brightest young social media communicators'​ by the UK Social Media Communications Awards. In 2019, I was named in a list of the 25 most innovative communicators by PRovoke Media. In 2021, I was listed in the 100 Most Influential PR Agency Professionals by Propel, and found to be the #1 most influential PR person on Twitter by Buzzsumo (tweeting @RichLeighPR). I'm a former personal trainer and dad to three little ones.
