An experienced HR business leader keen on developing people strategies that are fit for the future, and a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD. Lucky enough to have worked in some fantastic sectors including digital/tech, FMCG, professional services and currently in the wonderful world of water as Head of People at Northumbrian Water Group , NWG employ circa 3,000 people to provide water and waste water services to 4.5 million wonderful customers across operating regions in the North East, Essex and Suffolk - and work exceptionally hard to be a leading performer in the industry. Above all that, they put sustainability at the core of their purpose. This means protecting and enhancing the environment in everything they do; being the best they can in meeting customers’ needs and having a positive impact on the communities where they operate. I am Council Member and proud Chair of the Women's Leadership Forum at the North East England Chamber of Commerce - driving diversity and gender equality in business across the North East. Powered by creating cultures that build great places to live, work & learn - and passionate about partnering to bridge the gap between education and employment - I recently joined the Board at Hartlepool College of Further Education, in my hometown. I have a keen interest in transformation & change, leadership, responsible business, sustainability and the future of work.
