Matthew's professional bio / interests

For our students: I teach into the BA (Hons) Design for Industry and MA Design programmes and work to develop and promote the employability of our Design students across the School's programmes. For our external partners and business: Through the University, I deliver part of the UK Government's Help to Grow CPD programme to SME business leaders, and wrote the Strategy and Innovation module which is being delivered to 30,000 participants nationally over the next 3 years. I have set up funded programmes with several businesses/charities to help them establish in-house Industrial Design and Service Design capabilities - funded by InnovateUK and the businesses themselves, this work has led to several awards.
