Strategic Head of HR, Transitioning from 20 years in the Royal Navy
Michelle's professional bio / interests
Strategic human resources leader, bringing an energy and passion to deliver organisational objectives and end to end change. I lead ethically, building, and engendering teams to achieve sustainable success for people and organisations. My experience is validated via a professional PhD, Chartered FCIPD, and 20 years as a logistics and HR officer in the Royal Navy, where most recently I drove the transformation of the lived experience for more than 30,000 people, routinely influencing board level decisions. I have championed minority groups, changing employee policy to improve retention and satisfaction. I am a trustee of two charities. Transitioning into the private sector from September 2022, I seek new HR leadership opportunities to focus my energy and skills: enabling the organisation, team and myself to grow and thrive.
