I am a corporate development/M&A specialist in the media industry with recent experience as COO of Bonhill Group plc, an AIM listed, B2B media & events business. I have over 25 years experience in corporate development (Mergers & Acquisitions, IPOs, strategic & business planning, financial analysis), private equity & the public markets, operational management (change programs, organisation restructuring & process improvement), commercial negotiation, general management and managing multi-site support services (eg legal, HR, property). I have deep industry expertise in B2B information, data & events, and consumer publishing & events, together with experience within the television & radio, marketing services and education sectors. I have worked in professional services as a corporate lawyer with Clifford Chance, as a management consultant with Andersen Consulting and as a corporate financier for KPMG and Grant Thornton. I have also worked within the media industry in corporate development/M&A roles at ITV Digital and BBC Worldwide, as Managing Director of satellite platform, Freesat, and in corporate venturing as Head of DC Thomson Ventures. Latterly, I was COO of AIM listed B2B information, events & data business, Bonhill Group plc.
