Sue Henley
Head of Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing, Civil Service - Department for Work & Pensions
Sue‘s professional bio / interests
I joined the Civil Service 4 years ago as Head of Diversity, Inclusion & Wellbeing for the Department for Work & Pensions, which is the largest operational Government department with over 90,000 employees. Prior to this I spent 18 years at Marks & Spencer in various commercial and HR leadership roles, where I have great memories, and which shaped the leader I am today. I am hugely passionate about D&I and how the work we do can deliver positive change with impact and make a real difference for people and organisations and I was able to realise these ambitions and develop my capability in my next role as EMEA Head of D&I role in the Investment Banking sector. After 4 years of huge personal and professional growth I moved into a EMEA Head of D&I & Talent Development role in Software Technology.
I’d like help with…
Shifting the dynamics of D&I delivery and accountability from COE's to Business Leadership. Creating cultural shift at scale and in an environment with multiple sub cultures.
