Public Relations and Digital Media Officer, Lake District National Park Authority
Sarah‘s professional bio / interests
I have worked in the Lake District National Park Authority communications team for four years. It's a really varied and exciting role, due to the world's love affair with the Lake District. I do have to admit that it's not a bad 'office'. Prior to this I spent 14 years at South Lanarkshire Council in a variety of communications roles. A highlight here was leading the communications for one of the largest ever UK-wide education Public Private Partnerships (PPP) programme. In my early career I worked for a PR agency - Beattie Communications - but spent most of my four years here out on secondment to NHS and Government organisations. These included the National Scottish Enterprise communications team, NHS Lanarkshire Primary Healthcare Trust, Scottish Enterprise Lanarkshire, Scottish Enterprise Ayrshire and Business Gateway Lanarkshire.
