Lauri's professional bio / interests

I've been working in high-tech marketing and sales since 2001, after earning my MSc from TalTech. I spent 5 years helping to build GrabCAD, the world's largest engineering community, which now has over 11 million members and was acquired by Stratasys in 2014. I managed their Engineering Challenges and was in charge of over 150 crowdsourced design competitions; initiated projects with NASA and General Electric. Those competitions were the source of many engineering innovations and helped to engage and grow the community beyond expectations. I am currently working with businesses to develop marketing strategies, grow communities, and generate creative ideas for growth. In 2021 I was certified by the Community Leaders Institute as an expert.
