Nuclear professional and senior manager with over 30 years’ experience within the nuclear industry, as Plant Manager of radioactive waste processing and storage facilities and as nuclear safety regulator covering a variety of roles across all nuclear industry sectors and the wider major hazards chemical industries. Professional leadership of 100+ nuclear inspectors, standards development, delivery of staff competence, learning and development and organisational resilience. Strong record of delivery in collaboratively leading numerous internal, UK and international diverse teams resulting in major nuclear safety improvements. As a member of ONR’s leadership team and diversity and inclusion group, contributing to a major shift in organisational culture through introducing and sponsoring strategic D&I initiatives.
