After more than 20 years working in the design and communications industry, I bring a breadth of experience from my time working with a wide range of clients such as HSBC, English Heritage, The Financial Ombudsman, Southern Electric, Business Link, and Plymouth Radiology Academy. I was employed as a design adviser on behalf of the Design Council, advising start-ups and SMEs on how to plan and implement their design and communication requirements. These included branding, marketing and sales collateral, websites and events to help them grow their business and open up opportunities both nationally and internationally. I am one of the three co-founders of Brightest Bulb. We train professionals to film, edit and distribute engaging and cost-effective videos using smartphones. The video content they create can be used in a number of ways; to improve customer-facing and employee communications, to increase visibility on social media and attract new business. Short-form video has become the number one channel for communication. People don't want to read, they want to watch so having a number of employees armed with the skills to create regular and cost-effective video content is a very powerful advantage. I manage the relationships with our clients, providing guidance pre-course and post-course relating to their smartphone video planning and strategy, to ensure that the training outcomes match up with the desired outcomes.
