I started my career in the charity sector with Mungo's moving onto Macmillan and currently working for Carers Trust as their Head of People and Culture. As the Head of People and Culture at I lead the development and implementation of our People Strategy, ensuring that our People are able to thrive and perform to the best of their abilities in order to support unpaid carers. Work in progress at the moment reward and recognition review, values refresh, EVP, Leadership and Org Development programmes, Anti Racism roll out.

An interesting, or unusual fact(s) about me…
I have worked in charities for the last 17 years, 6 years in homelessness with Mungo's and 9 years at Macmillan, now working for the Carers Trust for the last 2 years. I was homeless for 2 years as a young man growing up in Manchester.

A career highlight
There have been a few but the development of an apprenticeship that was focused on people with lived experience of homelessness stands out for many personal reasons, the scheme added so much value and continues to do so.
