I learnt most of what know about community management, customer experience and event management running fairly illegal warehouse parties in London in the late 90s/early 2000s.
A career highlight
Launching the first MSc in Digital Marketing Communications (still going strong) at Econsultancy in partnership with MMU. Working with one of my friends and realising we'd accidentally turned his dream of lifelong playtime into a national climbing wall business with £3m of VC funding and without losing the fun (or soul).
