Anna Kamocsai is a recent Journalism BA graduate from the University of Westminster, London. In her final year she was working as the Editorial Assistant of Westminster's PR Team, gaining significant PR and journalistic experience. During her studies, she has written articles for the Arts & Culture section of the Voice of London student news site, and has been the Editor of Animedia student magazine. Anna is mainly passionate about the arts sector, including animation, literature, design, architecture, photography, and fine arts; with special interest towards East Asian cultures.

I am currently looking for an entry-level position or internship in PR and journalism. I am mainly interested to work for cultural organisations and the Higher Education sector, including print and online media related to these fields. I would be very thankful for advice and guidance throughout my job search.

While working as an Editorial Assistant at Westminster, I had a chance to organise the PR campaign around The Gallery Coffee Shop opening at the University, supervised by the PR Manager. My role covered drafting a press invite, press release, external event listing, and an after-event news article. In addition to that, contacting external media organisations to arrange coverage and interviews, joining meetings related to the event, communicating with the project team and other relevant teams, and taking part in the opening celebration and the launch.
