Ben is a Chartered Psychologist and Life Coach with over 17 years of work experience in the NHS and voluntary sector. An experienced researcher, Ben has worked in both acute and mental health NHS Trusts on multi-centre clinical trials and small-scale projects. Whilst working in the voluntary sector with acquired brain injury, he demonstrated his commitment to service improvement and helped establish links with academic institutions to deliver Occupational Therapy for service users. His PhD focused on qualitative research in chronic pain. This explored the important issue of disbelief that individuals with chronic pain can experience. Over the years Ben has authored several peer-reviewed publications. Ben joined the Evaluation & Insight Team at the West of England AHSN in 2022 as a Senior Research Evaluator.
