I am an aspiring biochemist who enjoys learning in the overlap: whether its concepts from different disciplines, people from different backgrounds, or techniques from different industries. I have strong research skills and an academic background in biochemistry, data analysis, and sustainable engineering. My passion lies in solving problems and advocating for equal opportunities for all. This has led to be being involved with multiple opportunities: sitting on the Brightside Youth Board; volunteering as an academic mentor with Zero Gravity; and working as a residential assistant for the access and outreach team at my university. All of these experiences have widened my world view, and I hope to integrate these perspectives into my work as a researcher. Alongside my undergraduate studies, I’ve taken on various work experience roles to educate myself on careers in data science, pharmaceuticals, and science communications so that I can better prepare myself for the future.
