Rachel Granger is Professor of Urban Economies in the College for Business and Law.
Her research is naturally hybrid, drawing together the fields of cities, economics, innovation, economic growth, and regeneration. Rachel engages in practice-based research and policy design on creative and digital industries, innovation, and smart cities. She conducts research on the performance of key sectors in driving urban economies and cities, including knowledge-intensive services, retail and the High Street, housing, and transport.
