My latest venture is EQ, a media company based out of St. Louis, Missouri, USA that is focused on growing non-capital cities into global centers of innovation. I'm also the Co-Founder and President of Longneck & Thunderfoot, a 2x Inc 5000 listed brand publishing company incubated out of the Columbia University Startup Lab in NYC.

I'm sort of at a career crossroads. I'd like to build community, content and training products but my strengths seem to be in digital marketing consultancy and that's what my network wants to buy from me. Both a blessing and a curse!

For my tenure (2010-2013) as Director of Search Engine Watch, the longest-running SEO blog. I revamped the brand and won the Gold Azbee National Award for “Online Excellence, New or Relaunched Web Site” from the American Society of Business Press Editors.
