Hi! My name is Binita and I’m a 2nd year student studying towards my bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security. Empowering more women to pursue a career in technology is a huge passion of mine and I can’t wait to meet likeminded individuals at the Women in TEC event!

Currently, I am seeking to find an industrial placement within the cyber security field that will enable me to apply my theoretical knowledge learned at university to practical, real-life challenges.

- I am an identical twin. Both my sister and I study STEM-related subjects at university. - I have pursued a hobby in dance, consisting of ballet, tap, and jazz, since the young age of 3.

I am working as a student ambassador at Staffordshire University London and a key highlight for me has been supporting workshops for groups of Year 9 female students to empower and inspire those interested in technology or STEM-related subjects to challenge the existing gender stereotypes and follow their passions.
