I taught psychology for several decades. I especially enjoyed teaching introductory psychology and applied psychology. I think... that the role of a psychologist should be to apply the psychological level of explanation to psychological phenomena - and to make neuroscientists and psychiatrists more aware that complex behaviour and affect cannot all be understood within the paradigms of biology and disorder.
