I have led marketing, market research and media teams for 20+ years and founded Nerd Digital in 2017. Nerd specialises in digital marketing, customer research and creative copywriting with a particular focus on healthcare, start-ups, entertainment and environmental sectors. I originally trained as a biochemist, am a chartered marketer and in 2019, as a (very) mature student, completed a distance learning MSc. in digital marketing. I recently bootstrapped and subsequently led a funding round for the Truckstars app which received angel investment and is now live.

Love launching new products, spreading the word about innovation and have a personal interest in futures studies. I also act as a digital marketing mentor, currently supporting students on the Future in Tech programme.

My first job in marketing was at 9 years old when I 'starred' in a Wotsits crisps TV advert.
