Madeleine‘s professional bio / interests
Building on my background in subscription and membership businesses, I recently launched www.Customer-ization.com to advise companies, brands and entrepreneurs on their community strategies to foster and accelerate growth and strengthen resilience when challenges are faced. My direct experience of community-led growth businesses spans media, entertainment and professional services. In media, I was tasked with engaging readers and subscribers of two magazine titles within the Haymarket portfolio and at The Telegraph accelerate digital subscriber engagement. At eMusic.com I launched and grew a community of over 50,000 avid music fans, and in professional services I helped the community of aspiring and serving non-executives at Women on Boards grow to over 40,000. I am passionate about education and so became Chair of Governors for a local authority maintained school in north London. I also recently became a trustee for the ESU (www.esu.org).
