David‘s professional bio / interests
In 2000, following a varied career in industry, academia and consulting, David founded Clicktools, one of the UK’s first SaaS companies. As CEO he led the company through continuous organically funded growth and two liquidity transactions. David is now CEO of TheCustomer.Co, which helps B2B SaaS companies profitably win, satisfy, retain and grow their chosen customers better than the competition. David also works with investors having been retained by both private equity and venture capital companies. David is a recognised expert in customer focused organisations and was named as a Global Top 25 Customer Success Influencer in 2020. David works with CEOs and executive teams to deliver profitable growth through customer focus. A career highlight
Starting Clicktools, which in 2000 was one of the UK's first pure-play B2B SaaS companies. As CEO I grew it organically and led it through two liquidity events. In 2010, I sold 49.9% to Survey Monkey and then led a sale of 100% to Callidus Cloud (now part of SAP) in 2014.
