I have worked across a number of industries, including the charity sector and with a particular focus on startups in the last decade. I'm currently CFO for an AI Startup, Chair for a mental health charity and work on the Tech Nation Global Talent Visa programme. I am also a mentor for Multiverse. I have a keen interest in psychology and mental health and enjoy cycling and reading historical fiction. I am actively looking to use my experience as a company director, COO and CFO to help early stage companies as an NED or advisor. I have previously worked with the Royal Academy of Engineering as a mentor and find this kind of work very rewarding in terms of the impact that it is possible to have.

I was asked (and accepted) to film an advert for Air New Zealand as a tech "celebrity" in a content series alongside Giles Peterson (Music) and David Quantick (TV, writing) - we were flown to LA, shot in various locations, wrote an Entrepreneurs Guide to the city and were generally treated like actual celebrities (although we felt far from deserving of that title!).

Although I have been involved in 4 acquisitions over the years, the highlight was the smallest one as it was of a company I started with some friends. I ran the whole process from the initial (inbound) enquiry, through DD and to completion.
