Started out very technical (Unix sysadmin), gradually became less technical until I was a management consultant. Settled in to a middle-ground of technology advisory, technical pre-sales, and product management. I'll be the technical person in a business room, the business person in a technical room, a product evangelist to clients, and a client evangelist in-house.
