I am Chief Legal Officer for the CLS collection of entities which provide insurance, data, analysis, and solutions for commercial and residential property transactions. In addition to my group-wide executive director duties, I am responsible for the group’s legal, company secretarial, compliance, and risk-management functions. I qualified into the corporate/commercial team at Allen & Overy LLP in London with secondments to JPMorgan Chase (London), Huntsman Europe (Brussels) and Lloyds Banking Group (London), before moving in-house to join the legal team at Lloyd’s of London and then Simply Business (part of The Travelers Companies Inc. group). I hold the CFA Investment Management Certificate, plus an MBA from Imperial College London Business School, and completed an executive strategy and leadership programme at London Business School. I also co-founded the investment arm of a network/accelerator providing mentoring and early-stage capital to UK entrepreneurs. Away from work I am a keen water-skier and love running Tough Mudders.
