Hi, I'm Sarah, the founder of Purple Banana – part-consultancy, part-agency - where I am responsible for not only growing the agency across the UK, but also delivering great work for our clients too! Prior to setting up Purple Banana in 2019 I held various in-house, head of marketing roles, in several creative and communications agencies across a range of markets from the ever-changing world of FMCG private-label retailers and consumer brands, to the highly regulated pharmaceutical industry. I am highly experienced when it comes to building in-house marketing capabilities within an agency and know first-hand the challenges this can bring – and most importantly how to overcome them. Having been client-side for over 15 years I love nothing more than to share my “been there, done that” experience with agency clients now – helping them get to grips with their own marketing with a strategy and in-house delivery system that will drive the reliable growth they’re looking for.

Finding speaking opportunities where I can share my knowledge and experience around getting to grips with your marketing as an agency owner, and build my network of other experts in and around marketing and new biz for agencies.

I love the great outdoors and am happiest when I have my walking boots on exploring the Yorkshire Dales with my hubby, toddler, and dog... throw in a cosy pub lunch and some camping and I'm in my element!
