I have an extensive background in Human Resource Management across a wide range of sectors, including Education, Housing, Life Sciences and Manufacturing. Organisations I have worked for include GE Healthcare, Tata Steel, The University of Wales Trinity St David, Coastal Housing and Panasonic. In my current role, I am the Director of People at Bridgend College, but am soon to take up a new challenge as part of the SLT at Public Health Wales. My passion is in working with others to create environments where individuals can thrive and reach their full potential. I am an advocate of lifelong learning and hold a number of Masters level qualifications, including an MA in Professional Development and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education and Training. I am also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development. I also have a Level 7 coaching and mentoring qualification, gained through the CIPD. In my leisure time, I am somewhat of a thrill seeker and enjoy both skydiving and scuba diving. I am very much looking forward to getting to know you all and to the learning and sharing opportunities this forum will bring.
