I'm an imaginative BA Linguistics graduate with a passion for storytelling and quality communication, guided by my inclination toward creative expression and building relationships. I first fell in love with the art of storytelling through dance, inspired by its ability to invoke a feeling and create a shared experience. I've studied many disciplines alongside choreography, performance skills and contextual studies. As a result, I've been closely involved in project development, making me an adaptable team player with a sharp eye for detail. These experiences cemented my ambition to build a career where I can be a part of nurturing a creative vision from conception to completion. My curiosity for people led me to become a youth leader, helping to plan and implement enrichment programmes. I valued the chance to develop my abilities in management and leadership whilst leaning into my strong interpersonal skills. Having studied Linguistics, I understand how language is used strategically in various settings and am adept at critically analysing texts. I've developed a keen interest in analysing stories and identities, particularly how narrative choices relate to societal attitudes and ideologies. This gives me an appreciation of how the relationship between the author and their audience unfolds. My communication skills are excellent, and I'm versed in research, presentations and semi-structured interviews. I hold some project management experience after designing, piloting, and executing an experiment on language and cognition. My ambition is to pursue a career in Marketing.
