Begoña‘s professional bio / interests
Biologist with major in Ecology, and Master on Environmental Impact Assessment and Restoration. Alternating volunteer, activist, and engaged work at various Basque NGOs through a long-time commitment with Indigenous Peoples and Nations' representatives and organizations worldwide. Then returning to the Academy for a second Master on Feminist and Gender Studies and actual PhD Candidate on Post-Colonialisms and Global Citizenship at CES, Centre for Social Studies, University of Coimbra, Portugal where I am an active member of the ECOSOC-CES Ecology and Society Office, and of the ECOSOL-CES Social Economy and Solidarity Team.
