Sabine is the Founder and Managing Partner of Better Boards. She is credited with having identified the 'Seven Hallmarks of Effective Boards' and together with a tech team developed an innovative board evaluation platform. The 'Seven Hallmarks' have been peer-reviewed and published in the US, the UK, and Europe. Leading investors, listed organisations (like, for example, Mercedes Benz, Daimler Trucks, National Grid, National Express, Clarios, Easy Jet and Oxford University Press) and growth companies in the US, the UK, and Europe have worked with Sabine and her team and achieved tangible results. Leading Professional Service firms are using the Better Boards board evaluation platform as part of their own service delivery. After studying business management in Cologne and completing a PhD in Bristol, Sabine worked as a management consultant in various leadership positions for A.T. Kearney and Monitor Company in London. Driven by a passion for reaching beyond the PowerPoint slides and a desire to create real, long-lasting change in organisations, she set up two businesses: The Coaching Centre and Better Boards. Sabine is the host of The Better Boards podcast series. She has published numerous articles in international journals and magazines such as Harvard Business Manager, The Corporate Board, Real Deal, Accountancy Futures, The International Journal of Mentoring & Coaching, and Business Coaching Worldwide. Her articles focus on leadership, creating effective boards, and best practices in executive coaching. Sabine has also co-authored various handbooks and standard reference works related to these topics.
