I am a consultant in-house lawyer with over twenty years' experience working in the financial services sector. Since August 2022 I have been working as a legal consultant on a retainer basis for several wealth management platforms. Previously I was Head of Legal (initially sole counsel) at Novia Financial and before that I was a senior lawyer in the Insurance Division's legal team at Lloyds Banking Group. I am used to advising on a wide range of legal areas including commercial contracts, regulatory issues, transactions, disputes, data privacy, governance and I also act as company secretary.
