Born in Afghanistan, became refugee at 6 years old. Lived in Pakistan/Tajikistan/Russia/Ukraine, eventually settled with my parents in Belgium. Where we lived until I was 16, when we decided that London would be an ideal place for my further education.

Starting Sofia Platform in 2017, fresh out of university and inexperienced without the right connections, but my team and I managed to build a platform around the very early stages of Defi & Finance on the blockchain. We ended up putting it to the side having realised both our lack of experience & the 2018 crash. But I'm exceedingly proud on how we achieved what we did without any background in the field and external support.
