I a m recently retired from working in nurse education facilitating student nurse placements between university, and hospitals, also recruiting students and apprentices. My daughter is a primary school teacher and recommended this charity. Our family have all enjoyed reading, but I have discovered that this is not the case for everyone. During my time in recruiting it was noticeable that some applicants struggled with English and maths going back to their childhood, so really wanted to help children discover the love of reading, to help them go forward with their future, and hopefully find enjoyment in reading .
