Having spent the last 11 years working in Higher Education in various roles (most recently as an Equality Charter Manager), I have come back to the charity sector to work on DEI and employee engagement at the wonderful Compassion in World Farming. DEI is an absolute passion of mine and something which I will never give up on trying my hardest to improve wherever I go! Two of my favourite sayings, which I have on post it notes on my desk are: 'Impact always trumps intention' and 'Diversity is about counting people, inclusion is about making people count'.
