I am Subhashree Bhattacharya. My journey in the sustainability field began in 2021 when I started working with Apex Group as an ESG consultant. At Apex, I work with various service offerings, including ESG Health Checks, ESG Ratings and Gap Analysis, Carbon Footprint Inventorisation and Due Diligence Assessments. My experience includes undertaking content analysis, assessing and scoring clients on their E, S and G performance, conducting materiality assessment, peer review and benchmarking, creating customised due diligence reports and delivering impactful presentations for clients. I have a passion for writing on ESG issues and have written a blog in Apex regarding, “The dark reality of modern slavery in global supply chains.” I also assist in interviewing candidates and training new joiners. I am a council member of Apex's equality, equity, diversity, and inclusion group. I also volunteer as a trained mental health first aider for employee support services. Before joining Apex, I worked at Ernst & Young (E&Y) as a Tax Consultant and a Strategic Communication Specialist. My transferrable skills and experience from E&Y include data analysis, content creation and internal communication. Due to my apt presentation skills, I got selected to work with the strategic communication team, where I coordinated information sharing internally.
