Currently providing IT consultancy/advisory services to the PE market. Working directly with a couple of PE firms and with an IT services business that provides services to the PE Market. For 6 years previous to that I was Chief Information and Technology Officer at PEI Media a PE-owned, B2B information and data business. Here I worked very closely with the CEO, CFO, and Exec team to establish the right environment, technology strategy, and transformation plan to enable business growth and create enterprise value. Over that period there wasn’t a bit of the technology stack that I didn’t have hands-on exposure to and change. I also managed three M&A investments, due diligence, and integrations during this time and I was part of the sale process to ensure tech readiness and a successful exit for the business and PE owner, originally LDC, latterly BridgePoint. Previous to that I was Head of Technology at Euromoney PLC. Operating at portfolio level, leveraging the scale, efficiency and value technology can provide to a large business. During that time, linked data structures and strategy, identity and access management and sales funnel optimisation was high on the agenda.
