Head of procurement for Save It Discount Store: a non-profit Food Share and Humanitarian Project. We help save food from landfill for our independent foodbank, food networks, community fridges and freezers, and anything left over for our fundraising discount stores - which funds us being able to save more food AND our humanitarian work through Connect Aid. For example we have sent 889 pallets of food and aid to Ukraine, and are still putting them together. We have temperature controlled vehicles and are capable of handling bulk; we helped save 70 pallets of food from a single warehouse last month. My interests include films, food, comedy, and walking down long dark corridors in the middle of the night wailing and wringing my hands. Professionally my interests include helping save the planet, helping vulnerable families, helping and facilitating community work, neurodiversity advocacy, and protecting human rights.

Saving any past best before/damaged/surplus/short dated food that would otherwise have to be paid to be disposed of. We can also help save food from broken down deliveries.
