Carolyn‘s professional bio / interests
I have recently joined the Office of the Chief Scientific Advisor for policing having worked previously in operational policing - Forensics for near on 30 years. I recently worked for the Forensic Capability Network where I developed the current Research and Innovation strategy (currently awaiting publishing). I have a Doctorate in Criminal Justice which focusses specifically on Sexual Offence Investigations. I have a broad range of forensic experience across crime scene investigation, management and coordination and advise in a number of national working groups. I also chair a number of research groups within policing. I am also a teaching fellow at the University of Portsmouth.
