I have more than 30 years’ experience advising multinational and APAC-based organisations while based in Hong Kong, Seoul, Sydney and London. My experience and expertise include reputation management, employee engagement, change management, issues and crisis communications, strategic content development, and ESG and DE&I communications. I currently am the Senior Advisor to SEC Newgate Greater China. Previously, I worked for leading communications consultancies Burson-Marsteller and Ogilvy Public Relations. I was also International Vice President of Marketing Communications for New York Life Insurance and Director of The Wall Street Journal’s Asia Pacific Content Studio. I have received several awards for her work, including an Asia Pacific PR Week Award; a Public Affairs Asia Gold Standard Award; a UK PR Week Award; and a Taiwan Advertising Festival Award. I was also the recipient of a Burson-Marsteller Value Added Award for Client Service Excellence, and the prestigious New York Life Insurance Chairman's Award. I have been a judge at the Asia Pacific PR Awards and the Korea Adstars Awards. I was one of the founders of the Council of Public Relations Firms of Hong Kong, now rebranded PRHK, and am currently a board member in charge of partnerships. I am a co-author of the seminal book: ‘Public Relations in Asia Pacific.’ The second edition will be published by Emerald in 2024. I hold a post-graduate certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School; a post-graduate diploma in Internal Communications from the UK Chartered Institute of Public Relations; an MSc Hons in Public Relations from the University of Stirling, UK; and a BSc Hons in Geography from the University of Leeds, UK.
