I consider myself primarily a reader and a traveller. Born in Nigeria and now based in the West Midlands of England, I was a 2015 Writer-in-Residence at the Ebedi International Writers’ Residency. In 2022, my work was shortlisted for the Grow Your Story Programme by THRIVE/Hachette UK and the SI Leeds Literary Prize. I am a Writing West Midlands' Room 204 Writer for 2023/2024 and when I'm not reading, writing, travelling or training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I work as a hospital doctor.
