I’d like help with…
Making my writing more punchy. I'm a journalist, so it should be but I find myself using four words when one will do. I think it's because I've been trained to write as people speak but that doesn't always translate to the pages of a novel.
I also need to be more active rather than passive in my writing.
An interesting, or unusual fact(s) about me…
I know battlefield First Aid and how to cope in a hostile environment - training courtesy of the BBC!
I live in
GB
A career highlight
Interviewing Jilly Cooper, who couldn't have been more generous or encouraging when I confessed I wanted to write a novel. She's a class act.
